JUDGMENT

Leave granted.

2. The appellant was arrested on 10th June, 1998 in connection with FIR No.577/97 which was later on split into two FIRs. His first application for bail was rejected by the trial Court on 30th July, 1998. Later on also, his bail applications were rejected by the trial Court as well as by the High Court. Hence this appeal.

3. We are informed that the prosecutrix as well as more than 13 other witnesses have since been examined.

4. After hearing learned counsel for the parties but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we direct that the appellant shall be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/ - with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Sessions Judge, Jaipur. The appellant shall surrender his passport in case he is in possession of one before the Sessions Judge, Jaipur, before being admitted to bail and in case he does not possess a passport, he shall file an affidavit to that effect before the Sessions Judge, Jaipur. The appellant shall not directly or indirectly tamper with prosecution evidence nor in any other manner cause hindrance to the completion of the trial.

The appeal is disposed of.

Appeal allowed.
